John Oxenham is a director at the firm, Nortons Incorporated, in Johannesburg, South Africa. John has been involved in some of the most significant competition matters which have been brought before the South African competition authorities and the South African Courts. He also advises clients in relation to antitrust matters throughout Southern Africa and advised, in conjunction with a Mauritian firm on the implementation of the Mauritian merger guidelines and procedural rules. John was previously involved as a non-governmental advisor in the International Competition Network's merger and notification subgroup. He has authored numerous competition law articles for various publications and has been interviewed on television news and radio on various antitrust matters. John is also a co-author of Cartels – The South African Cartel Handbook.
